CO-STRAP composite strapping should be used with our galvanized wire buckles. When used this way it has a considerably higher system breaking strength than textile strapping, woven Strapping, PET or PP strapping and it does not get loose during transportation. It allows your cargo to reach its destination without incurring any damages.
CO-STRAP woven strapping should be used with phosphate coated wire buckles. When used with a buckle, the strap doesn t get loose during transportation and this allows your cargo to reach its destination without incurring any damage. CO-STRAP polyester corded woven strapping has considerably higher system breaking strength than PP Strapping when used together with the appropriate buckle. CO-STRAP lashing, which we began to manufacture in 2019, are approved by Germanischer Lloyd. The cargo may need to be transported by container whether by road, sea, or rail. The lashing method is frequently used in these cases and especially for sensitive loads. It is a more economical solution especially compared to SpanSets. The vibration movements that occur during container loading and unloading or during shipment must be damped. Lashing is a method used to achieve this goal. Lashing method is also used a lot of times to transport heavy industrial products to achieve maximum safety and to fixate the products inside the container.
The buckle is used to fix the pallet and the loads and to connect the two ends of the strap during the application of the strap. Buckles are also referred as wire buckles. The quality of the buckles is the most important factor affecting strength of the joint of the strap. The quality of the buckles depends on the diameter of the wire, the quality of the wire used, the quality of the surface coating and the form of the buckle. CO-STRAP buckles are mainly used with Polyester Corded Composite Strapping, Textile (hotmelt) Strapping and Woven Strapping but are also used with PET Strapping and PP Strapping.
PET Strapping can be used on loads requiring high, medium and low strength applications. They can be applied manually (with buckle) or with semi automatic (pneumatic or battery) strapping tools or used in fully automatic pallet strapping lines. PP Strapping is used in medium and low strength applications. It can be applied manually or with semi-automatic or fully automatic strapping machines
